Phil | Director
Welcome to Languages for All. I founded the company with the vision of helping schools provide truly effective
language education that will propel the next generation forward into an ever increasingly global jobs market. The UK has a poor reputation globally for language skills. Apart from being a cause of national embarrassment, analysts at the
Department for Business, Innovation and Skills estimate that this comes at the cost of billions to the UK economy.
At LFA we believe that needs to change.
My background is in languages and linguistics; having graduated from King's College London in French and Linguistics. Since then I have lived and taught languages in a number of European countries and gained a PGCE through Teach First from the IOE. I have been a classroom teacher and French specialist in London for a number years and am dedicated to the vision of ensuring that all young people in the UK have access to good quality, effective language education.
Katie | Business Manager
Katie comes from a business background where she has worked in a number of roles for companies such as AIG and QBE. Having jointly managed an international summer camp in Switzerland with myself, Katie has extensive experience of working with, and managing teams that work directly with, young people.
Here's what she has to say about her role at LFA:
"When Phil asked me to be a part of this exciting venture I jumped at the chance. The role combines two of my greatest work passions: business and children. Phil and I work closely to ensure the schools and children we work with receive the best quality of teaching, customer service and value for money."
